Bacon Apple Ribbon Candy

  • 2 large granny smith apples, peeled and cut in ΒΌ x 2” slices
  • 16 pieces thin cut bacon
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 tbsp ground cinnamon


  1. Preheat oven to 400℉. Place a wire rack in a rimmed baking sheet.

  2. In a large bowl, mix sugar and cinnamon and toss with the apple pieces.

  3. Using a skewer, thread one end of the bacon slice and then an apple piece onto the end. Continue alternating the apple and bacon, weaving the bacon into an S-shaped ribbon.

  4. Lay on a prepared rack and sprinkle with remaining cinnamon sugar from the mixing bowl.

  5. Bake at 400℉ for 20 minutes or until bacon is cooked, flipping halfway through.
